Marseille Tarot

The Marseille Tarot is likely the most popular and well-known tarot deck in the world, often used for tarot initiation and card readings.

This Marseille Tarot deck from the renowned Nh-Fournier card factory consists of 78 cards or laminae and a booklet of instructions. The reproductions and illustrations follow the classic version of the Marseille Tarot.

The instruction booklet for the Marseille Tarot is translated into English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese, and the cards measure 11cm in length by 6cm in width.

In its layout, the Marseille Tarot deck can be divided into Major Arcana and Minor Arcana, totaling 78 cards or laminae.

The Minor Arcana (less revealing) are composed of four suits of fourteen cards each (from Ace to Ten, plus the “Court” represented by the Page (or Knight), Jack, Queen, and King). The Minor Arcana can also be divided according to Alchemical symbols (Earth, Air, Water, Fire) or the personal planes (mental, spiritual, emotional, and material).
