The Rider Waite Tarot – Giant is likely one of the most popular and well-known tarots in the world, often used for tarot initiation.

The illustrations for the Rider Waite Tarot were created in 1909 by Pamela Coleman Smith under the direction of Arthur Edward Waite. This series of 78 allegorical illustrations was published that same year by William Rider and Son. These collaborations resulted in a tarot that set the parameters for all subsequent tarot decks.
