Origins

The title Our Lady of Hope has two complementary origins. The first is inspired by the Virgin Mary's own experience during her pregnancy. This title expresses Mary's hope in seeing her Holy Son at the end of her pregnancy. The second origin comes from the faithful, who have always found in the Blessed Mother the hope that she will help them with their personal needs. Because of this, she was called in liturgy the 'Hope of the Hopeless'.<\/span><\/p>" }
