Holy Trinity - 21cm

", "description": "

The Holy Trinity is a mystery of one God in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Father who is God, who is Love: only the Father who loves respects the freedom of his son.

Son who is Jesus Christ: He is the visible God who became man, born of the Virgin Mary to fulfill God's will to liberate humanity from sin.

Jesus is God, and the main proofs are:

a) Jesus himself claims to be God (John 10:30 / 14:7 and Luke 22:67-70).

b) The miracles were performed by Jesus himself, not through Jesus.

Holy Spirit who is the Love of the Father and the Son that is communicated and transmitted to us. According to the Creed, Jesus was conceived by the Power of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. Mary was then invited to conceive Jesus, and Jesus' conception was the work of the power of the Divine Holy Spirit: \"The Spirit will come upon you...\" The mission of the Holy Spirit is always combined and ordered to that of the Son, meaning that all of Jesus' life manifests the will of the Father, which in turn is manifested by the Holy Spirit.

One fact from the Gospels is that the Apostles were very afraid after Jesus' death. It was the descent of the Holy Spirit upon them that radically transformed them and gave them the courage to go out and proclaim the Gospel. The same Holy Spirit who gave strength to the apostles and martyrs is received in the sacrament of Confirmation, and this is the importance of this sacrament in strengthening faith and professing Christianity.

The Dogma of the Holy Trinity

The Trinity is One; we do not profess three gods, but one God in three Persons. Each of the three Persons is the substance, essence, or divine nature. The divine persons are distinct from each other by their relationship of origin: the Father generates; the Son is generated; the Holy Spirit proceeds. In other words, to the Father is attributed creation, to the Son redemption, and to the Holy Spirit sanctification.

In summary, the mystery of the Holy Trinity is the central mystery of faith and Christian life. Only God can reveal Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

By the grace of Baptism \"in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,\" we are called to share in the life of the Holy Trinity, here on Earth in the darkness of our faith, and beyond death, in eternal light. Through Confirmation or Chrismation, as the name implies, we are called to confirm this received faith so that, not only do we live according to God's Word, but we also bear witness to it and spread it everywhere.
